Central and West Africa
Description:
Produced from small billets, the veneer is generally only up to around 1M in length and 100mm wide. It is mostly cut to a thickness of 1.5mm and 3.0mm.
Black Ebony is a precious and costly item and is used mainly as a detail veneer, for restoration purposes and for musical instruments.
