CROWN ABURA

Botanical Name: Hallea ciliata, H. stipulosa

Origin: West Africa

Description: Logs of Abura, though not frequently seen, are occasionally flat sliced, producing a fine textured veneer with a warm pinky brown colour. Usually straight in the grain but this may be interlocked when a slight mottle figure will be displayed. Looks somewhat like a pale Mahogany.
